Our company combines the traditional values and heritage of the original Alexander Rose tailoring that was established in 1945 with

EARLY YEARS
It all began in 1945, Alexander Rose our founder after leaving the army decided to open a clothing factory in Leeds. From humble beginnings he built up the business from strength to strength. Our Chairman Harold Rose was literally born into the clothing industry, eventually becoming the MD of the family clothing company. Alexander Rose Ltd was now responsible for the production of over 40,000 made to measure suits per year plus ready to wear garments supplied to over 400 retailers and fashion groups in the UK Including Selfridges, Harrods, and Burtons.
For the last 50 years Harold Rose has been dedicated to the world of bespoke tailoring and garment production. Harold has dedicated his working life to the pursuit of perfection in a suit. His knowledge and history in garment production is unmatched.
Shipton White of London, modern tailors and jewellers was formed in 2010 with the aim of dressing men well, offering style advice, combined with using the world’s finest cloths, giving an option to wear accessories and to help guide gentlemen through the creation of a perfect wardrobe to stand the test of time.
The two companies fused together to form Rose & White, introducing a ‘New Breed” of luxury tailoring combining Quality and Heritage with a modern twist.
